SEBI BRSR Core – Assurance and Value Chain National Conference by SOBE_IICA, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India on 16th December,2023, New Delhi

Our Mr. Gangaa C SHARMA, Managing Director & CEO made presentation about independent assurance of BRSR Core reporting, mandated by SEBI for top 150 listed companies. The conference was organized by School of Business Environment, Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) which is a premier autonomous institution under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.

Mr. Sharma, who is also one of the board member of Global Sustainability Standard Board (GSSB),GRI  as well as having global experience of conducting assurance of corporate sustainability reporting of global large companies across sectors, shared his perspective and experience with participants from eligible organization and other stakeholders.

He explained the step by step process of assurance engagement, standards followed, levels of assurance, Dos & Don’ts etc in order to make whole assurance engagement effective, efficient, value added and credible.
